Anti-Israel Activists in Media Agencies

Dear Editor:

Remember how the shooting of three Palestinians in Vermont was declared to be a hate crime? Remember how all the Israel-bashers said this was proof that Islamophobia is raging, and more deadly than anti-Semitism? Well, now “Front Page” has exposed that the shooter, James Easton, is a mentally unstable Bernie Sanders supporter who repeatedly wrote social media posts defending Hamas. Why aren’t mainstream media outlets reporting this information? Obviously because it conflicts with their politically-motivated narrative. It’s not a conspiracy–it’s just another demonstration that there are biased, anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian activists in many media agencies and they report what serves their agenda.

Sincerely,
Shimon Karnafogel

Biden Should Describe Hamas as Barbarians

Dear Editor:

According to your Feb.7 news report, President Biden says that Hamas’s hostage deal proposal is “over the top.” That’s all he can say? Over the top? Hamas is demanding that Israel surrender, withdraw, and release all Palestinian mass murderers from jail. Hamas has just murdered dozens of U.S. citizens and is holding Americans hostages underground in Gaza. And Hamas is merely “over the top”? Why can’t our president muster the words to describe these barbarians accurately?

Sincerely,
Mindy Fein

Lipstadt Not Telling the Truth About the PA

Dear Editor:

I was disappointed to read (your Feb.8 article) that Jewish leaders in Borough Park gave a warm welcome to the U.S. envoy for monitoring anti-Semitism, Deborah Lipstadt. During her two years on the job, Lipstadt has hardly said a word about the biggest source of anti-Semitism in the world today, the Palestinian Authority. Obviously her silence is part of the Biden administration’s strategy to create a Palestinian state; she wouldn’t want to say anything that would make the PA look bad. But her first obligation is to tell the truth, and she hasn’t been telling the truth about the PA. The Jewish leaders in Borough Park should have confronted her about that, instead of posing for smiling selfies and asking her softball questions.

Sincerely,
Larry Sternbaum

Securing the Southern Border

Dear Editor:

With a $34.2 trillion and growing national debt, the United States Senate’s proposed $95 billion aid package which includes $60 billion to Ukraine, $14 billion to Israel, $8 billion to Taiwan and $9 billion for humanitarian aid to Gaza should be paid for by reprogramming existing funding within our $5.5 trillion dollar federal budget.  Every billion sent to all four should be matched by providing a billion more to secure our own southern border with Mexico and northern border with Canada.  There should be separate votes for each of these funding initiatives.

The private sector and citizens must make difficult financial decisions on how to use existing resources.  Americans prioritize their own family budgets.  They make the difficult choices in how existing household funds will be spent. President Biden and Congress must also do the same.

Sincerely,
Larry Penner

Take Action to Free the Hostages

Dear Editor:

Thanks for your coverage of the Israel-Hamas hostage negotiations.

Israel made a big mistake, years ago, when it first started agreeing to release terrorists in exchange for Israelis who were taken to hostage. As the years went by, the price that the terrorists demanded naturally went up and up. And the Jewish public became accustomed to going along with these lopsided exchanges. But the terrorists who are set free then murder more Israelis. So how can it be fair to get the release of today’s hostages, when you know it will result in more murders–and more hostages? The madness has to stop now. Israel’s response to those who hold hostages should be just like at Entebbe. Instead of making concessions, take action.

Sincerely,

The Hypocrisy of the ICJ

Dear Editor:

The hypocrisy of the International Court of Justice and Justin Trudeau are galling. What precedents do they have for demanding a victim of unbridled aggression restrict its right of self -defense?

Are they demanding Ukraine ship food, medicine and fuel into Russia? Did McKenzie-King send supplies to Germany as we fire-bombed Berlin and Dresden? Did FDR capitulate to Japan in 1945.  No, he nuked them into submission.

If anyone should help the Palestinians, it should be the Islamic states who support them, not the corrupt African National Congress, nor ‘progressive’ Western leaders.

Why have the Arabs not formulated a plan to house the Gazans temporarily in Sinai? Would that make it too easy for Israel to defeat the terrorists? The Islamists goal tis o have Hamas defeat Israel.

Canada, America, Australia and New Zealand all have histories of genocide. Is that why they tolerate the libel that Israel is doing the same? Does accusing the Jewish state assuage their guilt for their callous neglect during the Holocaust?

The Arab population of Israel has grown 10-fold since the State of Israel was declared. This must be the most incompetent genocide ever.

Radical Islam, under the stewardship of Iran, attacked Israel on October 7, 2023. Israel has the right and duty to protect its people from Hamas’ pledge to repeat its barbarity over and over again.

Europe has capitulated to radical Islam because of massive immigration. Will the rest of the democratic world be able to hold on to its values or fall under the Islamism gripping our liberal universities?

Remember, Israel is the canary in the coal mine.

Sincerely
