Academia is a Hot Bed of Intellectual Rot

Dear Editor:

Dr. Phil McGraw perfectly articulates here how highbrow academia has become a hot bed of intellectual rot and moral ambiguity.

Liz McGill is only the tip of a poisonous iceberg that has begun to melt across America, an America in which waves of unashamedly entitled masses – woefully ignorant of ME history – recklessly and with callous indifference to Jewish life call for “intifada revolution” and the annihilation of Jews “from the river to the sea.”

This is America in the 21st Century folks – the best and brightest, self-appointed “progressive” minds are proudly calling for the genocide of Jews, defending Hamas terrorists, and either celebrating or denying the most barbaric of atrocities against Israeli civilians since the Holocaust – – – while having the chutzpah to falsely accuse Israel of committing genocide for having the audacity and will to defend herself against the terrorists who slaughtered her people.

How dare we not be prepared to walk calmly and quietly onto their cattle cars or into their gas chambers – or to run into their ravines surrounded by firing squads to satisfy their animus for us?

How dare we not embrace the “woke” marchers calling for our extermination – the seemingly reincarnated souls of those who poisoned and asphyxiated us in “showers” and shoved our bodies into ovens at Chelmno, Belzec, Sobibor, Treblinka, Majdanek, and Auschwitz-Birkenau?

How dare we not embrace the smug Ivy League academicians and their collegiate sheep who shadow and protect  the evil that slaughtered us on Oct 7, those who burned us alive in our homes and in ovens?

We will not wait for anyone to burn us again… or rape us again.. or mutilate our bodies again.

We are done dying for you.

Sincerely,
Rachel

NYT: Anti-Israel Obsession Run Amuck

Dear Editor:

Really, why doesn’t the hardcopy of The New York Times rename itself the Anti-Israel Obsession Times or Pravda-by-Orwell.

Today, on December 7, 2023, the Times has ten articles about Israel-Palestine, mostly negative, incendiary, inflammatory, pieces including one front page offering about how American Jews are split in their support for Israel-in-Gaza. The Paper of Record has fifteen (15!) photos, primarily of suffering Gazans. The total word count amounts to 14,247 words.

Oddly enough, I can find absolutely nothing about Amnesty International’s Report, dated today, about Iran’s systematic use of rape and torture against men, women, and children as young as 12 years old.

Nothing about the forced return (“the surge”) of nearly a half million Afghans from Pakistan to a dangerously cold winter in their home country–refugees for whom WHO has requested 10 million dollars but for which they have only received $500,000.00. They are begging for nine and a half million more.

Funny: Not a word about the U.S. Senate’s decision not to withdraw American troops from Syria after 76 attacks against U.S. forces have been launched by Iranian proxies since 10/7.

Not even a small notice about Brazil deploying troops to the Venezuela border, a move which might have significant consequences for South America.

Missing entirely is any article about the Jewish holiday of Channukah which begins this evening.

Well–they also have nothing about Dec 7th being the date that Japan bombed Pearl Harbor an act which catapulted America into World War Two.

Sincerely
Phyllis Chesler

Re: General Ahoron Haliva Must Go!

Dear Editor:

From an American perspective, this article [https://thejewishvoice.com/2023/12/aharon-haliva-has-got-to-go-now/] with all I have learned over the times I have visited and observed, it was apparent we expected the events and Circumstances surrounding the Hamas invasion of Israel. Further, interviews I had clearly presented the dangers that we saw materialize.

The failures of Haliva, are ones of perspective Blindness. When one is falsely of the belief someone or a group has the same or similar view of a subject or has purpose and view of the human condition as himself, then all actions are painted in that individual’s own mind as having a corollary of his perspective. When people who have a naive bias, they try to see only the good. They have a focus on only the good, they show a psychological Inattentional blindness to the real purpose of the person or group they are observing. Of course there is a political bias , completely unintentional but a perspective that can destroy their capacity to logically analyze the circumstances so obvious to others.

Based on the details of this article embedded, We can clearly see in the aftermath of October 7th; General Haliva has no ability to accurately perceive reality. He has a true politically driven Inattentional Blindness. This, Combined with his egotistical nature, his inattentional political bias, driven by his suicidal liberal political beliefs, makes him unfit for the position he holds.

Sincerely
Dave Wallace

Why Isn’t Israel Allowed to Defend Itself?

Dear Editor:

The New York Times continues with its biased anti-Israel reporting.

How dare Americans chastise Israel for defending itself against terrorists.

Hamas slaughtered 1400 Israeli civilians and took another 300 hostage, and the radical Islamists demand Israel be cautious and not hurt Palestinian women and children.

These so-called innocent women and children had six weeks to get out of harm’s way and escape into Egypt. Why did they not? Is it because not one of the 56 members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation wanted to help them? Why is that?

Why didn’t America or the EU provide for temporary shelter for the Gazans?

The answer, of course, is that they are all talk, with a glance over their shoulders at their respective electorates and radicals.

Everyone wants Hamas eliminated, including the Arabs of the Middle East and North Africa. No-one wants a return of the old murderous Palestinian Liberation Organization built by the Soviet KGB in 1954 that created the Palestinian myth in the first place.

Why is it only Israel takes concrete action to protect civilians in war? What other country in the world has ever cautioned their enemy to avoid conflict areas, or provided aid to them, knowing full well the military would benefit the most.

Until every hostage is returned safely to Israel and Hamas surrenders to face justice for crimes against humanity, all left-wing critics had better look into their own motives. If your goal is to destroy the only Jewish state and the sole bastion of freedom and democracy in the Middle East, know you are also speeding the Caliphate’s ascendancy in the West.

Sincerely
Len Bennett, Author of ‘Unfinished Work’
