Simmons recalls that the Jewish people helped him and many other black entrepreneurs to gain success in the record industry, the world of fashion and in the entertainment arena.  Stating that  the Jews began to wield power in the business sphere because non-Jews did not want to engage in certain professions.

In particular, Simmons expressed his gratitude to Syrian Jewish business people based in the Gravesend section of Brooklyn who loaned him money, gave him his start and helped him in every imaginable way to become the successful record producer that he is today.
Blacks and Jews, Simmons said, have established special social, cultural and entrepreneurial bonds which binds these two groups that have been traditionally discriminated against.
While not mentioning his name, Simmons makes oblique references to the mendacious claims made about the Jews from rapper Kanye West which has been dominating the headlines as of late.
