A sign of the blossoming friendship between ordinary Israeli and their Emirati and Bahraini counterparts has been the hospitality shown on both sides towards visitors. Emirati people have demonstrated their friendly nature and told Israelis visiting that “this is your second home.” Many have learned Hebrew in an attempt to communicate with Israelis in their own language.

In this clip, taken by a gentile on Shabbos in Jerusalem (although it would be prohibited if done for a Jew, it is apparently photographed by a gentile for his own purposes), Israelis entertain some Emirati and Bahraini guests at their Shabbos table in Jerusalem. Such scenes would have been unthinkable prior to the recent normalization between Israel and these nations.
