N.Y Governor Andrew Cuomo appeared on popular woman’s political talk show The View, hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, and Joy Behar.

The governor in an outrageous and factually incorrect statement said that President Donald Trump was responsible for “every death” in the country from the coronavirus pandemic.

In another exchange, Cuomo said that New York State’s more than 6,000 nursing home deaths allegedly caused by his order to put patients infected with coronavirus back in facilities was a conspiracy theory and a Republican partisan attack.

AP reported the initial inquiry was bipartisan

Cuomo claimed that the U.S. Justice Department expanded inquiry into whether New York is undercounting coronavirus deaths among nursing home residents, is a politicized investigation.  The US DOJ is demanding detailed data from hundreds of private facilities.

While blaming Trump for the entire pandemic, in an exchange with Goldberg, Cuomo stated

“I’m holding you-know-who(Trump)  responsible for every death in this country. First, Whoopi, because he lied about it. He lied about it from day one. They had that memo in January from a person named Peter Navarro saying millions are going to die”

Peter Navarro serves in the Trump administration as the Assistant to the President, Director of Trade and Manufacturing Policy, and the national Defense Production Act policy coordinator, he is not a doctor or an “expert”. Cuomo repeats several times in this View interview that Trump does not listen to the scientists and experts.

Trump did appear to listen to the experts. While Trump may have overlooked Navarro’s warnings; Navarro has no background in virology. The President did however follow the expertise of Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

On February 19th Dr. Fauci was still considering the COVID pandemic a hypothetical risk in America and called the risks of the virus ” minuscule”. Speaking to USA TODAY’s Editorial Board, Fauci stated:

If you look at the masks that you buy in a drug store, the leakage around that doesn’t really do much to protect you,” he said. “People start saying, ‘Should I start wearing a mask?’ Now, in the United States, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to wear a mask.”

From The USA Today article(LINK HERE): Fauci doesn’t want people to worry about coronavirus, the danger of which is “just minuscule.” But he does want them to take precautions against the “influenza outbreak, which is having its second wave.”

“We have more kids dying of flu this year at this time than in the last decade or more,” he said. “At the same time, people are worried about going to a Chinese restaurant. The threat is (we have) a pretty bad influenza season, particularly dangerous for our children.”

In other words, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the man who the consensus believes is the expert on COVID- believed the flu was a bigger risk in America than COVID.

Cuomo leaves this important timeline of events out, in viciously attacking President Trump. The president obviously listened to Fauci, the virologist over the Trade Advisor Peter Navarro. Cuomo is evidently intellectually dishonest.

The governor also rallied for Joe Biden to win the election next Tuesday, which was expected.

The most fascinating aspect of this interview is how Cuomo repeatedly claims he is a victim of politicizing of COVID by the DOJ and Republicans while politicizing the virus himself and blaming Trump for every single death in America .
