A Fox News weatherman was beaten as he tried to defend an elderly subway passenger and recounted his attack on Instagram, meanwhile 2 teens were murdered after school last Friday.

According to an exclusive New York Post report, Weatherman Adam Klotz, 37, recounted the vicious attack in an Instagram video, appearing bruised and battered as he described how he was going home on a train after watching the New York Giants NFL playoff game at a bar when he saw “this older gentleman was being hassled by this group of seven or eight teens.”

“I was like, ‘Yo, guys, cut that out.’ And they decided, ‘All right, if he’s not going to get it, you’re going to get it.’ And boy did they give it to me,” Klotz said. “They had me on the ground. My ribs are all bruised up, too. They got their hits in.”

Police sources told The New York Post that the meteorologist was on a No. 1 train around 1:15 a.m. when he confronted the teens, who may have been smoking weed at the time, too. The young suspects fled the train at the 18th Street station after the assault, but three of them — two 15-year-olds and a 17-year-old — were soon nabbed by cops, sources said.

“Juvenile reports were prepared, and their parents were called to pick them up,” a rep for the NYPD said Sunday.

It’s unclear why the three nabbed suspects were released without facing charges, but an NYPD spokesman told The New York Post on Sunday that the department did not have that option because of their ages and the fact that the crime involved an apparent misdemeanor

Upon further investigation by The New York Post, a rep for the city Law Department, which prosecutes juvenile crimes in the Big Apple, said in an email that the victim has to file a complaint with the Department of Probation before it gets involved. Probation would then decide whether to refer the case to the Law Department for prosecution, the representative said.

According to the Fox News website, Adam Klotz currently serves as a meteorologist for FOX News Channel and FOX Business Network. He is based in New York City and joined the network in January 2017.

In this role, Klotz reports on the latest weather news across the country. In March 2017, he provided coverage of winter storm Stella live from New York City.

Prior to joining FNC, Klotz served as a weekend meteorologist and multimedia journalist for Fox 5 in Atlanta, Georgia. He received a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism.

This happens to be a high profile case, but all across the city teenagers are going insane and murdering each other all across the city. There are literal gang wars many teenagers  are deeply involved with, and police have their hands tied, as radical leftists continue to embrace gangs and demand the NYPD stop tracking violent gangs.

Police say a 17-year-old boy died Saturday after he was stabbed in Coney Island while he was on his way home from school a day earlier, News 12 reported. Investigators say Nyheem Wright was walking home from Liberation High School when a group of six boys jumped him and stabbed him on the corner of Mermaid Avenue and West 31st Street near a Rite Aid pharmacy’s parking lot, right as school let out.
