As the Balenciaga controversial ad campaign that features young children holding teddy bears clad in bondage gear continues to repulse many, it has dominated the headlines as more prominent personalities continue to weigh on those affiliated with the high end fashion house.

One of the photos in the Balenciaga ad campaign shows a very young read-headed girl wearing a Balenciaga T-shirt while holding on to a white teddy bear, the New York Post reported. The doll was dressed up in a vest with a padlocked choker around its neck.

The Post also reported that another image shows a brunette child brandishing a purple plush animal that was adorned with similar bondage attire, the paper said.

Weighing in on this issue was former Fox TV talk show host Megyn Kelly. Speaking to her audience on Sirius XM radio who tuned into to listen to “The Megyn Kelly Show” on Tuesday,  she took the opportunity to address the Balenciaga issue and to take Kim Kardashian to task. Kelly told her listeners that she thought Kardashian was a  “disgusting, shameful billionaire” for not severing ties with Balenciaga in the wake of its controversial photo shoot, the Post reported.

Kelly also assigned blame to Kardashian for “refusing to disassociate from the brand even though she’s a billionaire.” She added that she thought that for Kardashian, “money is worth more than her morals and the protection of these children to her,” the Post reported.

The Balenciaga ad campaign represents the  “sexualization of children” and that it is “titillating to pedophiles,” said Kelly, according to the Post report.

As the high end fashion house continues to be under intense criticism and severe scrutiny even though they issued an insipid apology, other celebrity endorsers  include Hailey Barber, supermodel Bella Hadid and singer Dua Lipa, according to the Post report. In the last month, Balenciaga jettisoned their contractual agreements with the now disgraced rapper Kanye West because of his continual and vile anti-Semitic comments.

Earlier this week, Kardashian, who had remained mum about the Balenciaga controversy due to the fact that she too is a brand endorser finally piped up after facing intense criticism for not excoriating the company she works for.

Kardashian, 42, a reality television star, said that she was  “re-evaluating” her relationship with Balenciaga after she was left “shaken by disturbing images,” the Post reported.

“I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened,” said Kardashian on her Twitter thread.

Kardashian, who was married to rapper Kanye West also said: “As a mother of four, I have been shaken by the disturbing images. The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society — period,” the Post reported.

“I appreciate Balenciaga’s removal of the campaigns and apology. In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures for this to never happen again.”

“As for my future with Balenciaga, I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with — & the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children,” she ended the thread.
