In Response to Abe Foxman

(The following is a response to remarks by former ADL National Director, Abe Foxman, on why he cannot support Israel due to the incoming government)

Dear Editor:

Remind me Abe, why does Israel need you? I believe you fall right under the 3D’s definition of antisemitism. Delegitimization. Double standards. And demonization. You are delegitimizing Israel’s democratic process because you personally don’t like politicians who are elected. You’re exhibiting a double standard, as many other

countries also have politicians you may not like, including Italy (Meloni), France (Le Pen) and the United States (Ilhan Omar), do you show those countries the same contempt?

Are you advocating for cutting ties with Sweden since they announced the partnership w the far right parties? Every government in every country all over the world is comprised of some politicians we don’t like. And you choose to issue a public statement full of malice to the press for what end?

Only to demonize the Jewish state. Shame on you! Look at your legacy, the ADL, and how it’s become politicized and fails to represent the Jewish community as a whole. You should be more ashamed of THAT than Israeli democracy. Go crawl back in your hole.

Sincerely

75% of American Jews Support Dems

Dear Editor:

What is wrong with the approximately 75% of American Jews who support the principles of and vote robotically for the candidates of the Democrat party? Don’t these knuckleheads understand that the Democrat Party has been for ages a Jew hating group? Who started the KKK and what party has among its members, the likes of Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and others of their ilk who consistently vote against supporting Israel in  Congress? And although they voted over 70% for Barack Obama when he ran twice for the presidency didn’t they know his background? He was a devoted 20+ year  member of the Chicago United Trinity Church of Christ Church run by the Reverend Jeremiah H. Wright who was a devoted Jew hater. An overt, dangerously outright one.

As the most notable member of that church, the sitting senator from Illinois, Obama, knew full well the hatred against Jews, whites and America fostered by Wright, yet he remained a steadfast, loyal member of that villainous church and even had Wright on his initial election committee. He never denounced his pastor and we can only assume that he accepted the precepts expounded by Wright. Obama’s attitude toward Israel and its Prime Minister Netanyahu was flaunted by him and yet the majority of Jewish voters still stand by the party that still reflects is distaste for Jews and Israel. Go figure!

Ukrainian Support for Palestinians

Dear Editor:

Ginette Weiner, in the letters column of November 18th, again shows her hostility to the democracy of Ukraine whose people are fighting the belligerent, demon-like Russians under their dictator, Putin. She expects this embattled European nation to kiss the butt of Israel in order to get aid from the Jewish state. She mentions the votes in the United Nations by Ukraine that do not exactly conform to the wishes of Israel and its American supporters and demands that they change their attitudes and become an ally of sorts to Israel who has punished Palestinians for years for trying to get its own state and liberate its own people. They understand the terror of stronger nations such as Israel who want to impose their will on the persecuted Palestinians.

Ukrainians, no matter how much they need the military support and weaponry of Israel will never compromise their support for Palestinians to have their own nation. And thankfully, our own country will stand by, under President Biden, in support of both the Ukrainians and the Palestinians for their survival and acceptance by the world.

Sincerely,

Hope Springs Eternal

Dear Editor:

CNN: “The highly touted red wave in in last month’s midterm election failed to develop largely because it hit a wall of resistance among independent voters…Though many independents were negative on Biden’s job performance and pessimistic about the economy, they remained unwilling to entrust power to a Republican Party reshaped in Trump’s image.”

The far left is responsible for the decades of Jew hate on our campuses, who align with the Arab Muslim Israel hating mob who promotes the Big Lies about Jews and Israel. Algemeiner, “Genocidal Antisemitism Is Conquering American Campuses, “The Palestinian war against Israel has been a genocidal antisemitic undertaking from its origins and remains so today. Nonetheless, it enjoys substantial support in the US, especially in America’s most important institutional purveyor of antisemitism—academia…a chief promoter of anti-Israel propaganda, Muslim Brotherhood-linked Qatar, is also the largest foreign donor to American universities, providing over a billion dollars from 2011-2017.  A primary objective is to promote the anti-Israel agenda on campus and “persuade” faculty to disseminate anti-Israel slanders on campus and beyond.”

American Jews like to focus on the more obvious far right but while a threat to us, they are not the ones poisoning our campuses, whose Jew hate eventually filters down and becomes the new norm, as even a cursory review of history demonstrates.

American Jews keep hoping the Dems will rescue them. Some hope the Republicans will.  Neither of these sorry parties will ever rescue Jews. As always, we have to rescue ourselves. Neither party seems willing to divest itself from the lunatic far left or the lunatic far right. And so I call again upon all Jews to become registered Independents, send a loud message to both, we are furious with the direction of each and will no longer support either. My fantasy is that all Americans become Independents to send an even louder message that we demand moderate parties who will engage in problem solving, who will openly and loudly take concrete steps to stop and condemn the Jew hate on our campuses and in our world, regardless of its origins.

Sincerely
Ginette Weiner
