The New York Post reports that New York Democrat, Representative Hakeem Jeffries, is set to become the House Minority Leader, against the better wishes of the more extremist members of his party.

The Democrat, who represents parts of Brooklyn and Queens, is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus — but unlike more radical members of his party, he does not back defund the police and supports Israel, according to John Levine and Melissa Klein of The New York Post.

Jeffries had tried to distance himself from the “hard left,” telling The Atlantic last year that “There will never be a moment where I bend the knee to hard-left democratic socialism.”

It is vital to note that Jefferies is an election denier, a trait which gets conservatives and Republicans castigated and banned from social media. The NY Democrat since 2016, has denied the legitimacy of United States elections a total of nine times. He called the 2016 election “illegitimate,” and said it “artificially” made former President Donald Trump president, Breitbart pointed out

Jeffries claimed in 2019 there was a “cloud of illegitimacy that continues to hang over” the Trump administration and that Democrats must “to try to figure out what the heck happened.”

During a 2021 interview that the “The extreme left is obsessed with talking trash about mainstream Democrats on Twitter when the majority of the electorate constitutes mainstream Democrats at the polls”, report Levine and Klein.

State Sen. Jabari Brisport, a dangerous socialist representing Brooklyn, trash-talked the five-term rep last week, tweeting that “Hakeem Jeffries started the Team Blue PAC ‘to defend incumbents facing primary challenges”.

Brisport is a Democratic Socialist and represents District 25 which covers a stretch of eastern and north-central Brooklyn, including the neighborhoods of Fort Greene, Boerum Hill, Red Hook, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Sunset Park, Gowanus, and Park Slope. His district is so Democratic, Republicans rarely even challenge. He is most known for being a comrade of self-loathing Jew Bernie Sanders and his extreme animal rights agenda.

He went on to say that Jeffries used the PAC this year “to tip the scales” against progressive state Sen.

Alessandra Biaggi’s primary challenge to Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney. Maloney went on to lose his seat to Republican Mike Lawler in a major defeat for the party.

Brisport added that Jeffries “decided to endorse against a sitting progressive State Senator (Robert Jackson)” and that “Democrats who lie about their intentions in order to attack the left wing of the party should not be confirmed to lead it.”

“Strange how he understands the need to stand behind an underdog like Ukraine in their protection of citizens but can’t seem to understand why Palestinians would merit the same kind of support in their struggle with the state of Israel,” said anti-Semitic progressive activist Patrick Bobilin.

Boblin is an extremist radical who is founded UES4BLM, which describes itself as a “community group amplifying Black voices He is a garden variety, self-loathing, terrorist sympathizing leftist who luckily lost to Incumbent Rebecca Seawright  in the Democratic primary for New York State Assembly District 76 on June 28, 2022.

“If people like Boblin, AOC and Brisport, are ranting against Jefferies, he might not be as radical as I originally painted him”, TJV web editor Jared Evan commented.

Camille Rivera, a partner at consulting firm New Deal Strategies, said Jeffries “hasn’t really been engaged on issues like (the) Green New Deal. He comes from progressive roots but has isolated himself on issues regarding climate which has made some folks uneasy,” Rivera said. Rivera is a union activist and left-wing pundit on rarely viewed networks like NY1, BBC, and WNYC

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez came out swinging shortly after her own 2018 victory, saying she and her Justice Democrats group would work to unseat incumbents including Jeffries, according to one report. No primary challenge happened. It’s no surprise that Ocasio-Cortez is attacking Jeffries, she only has kind words for people who are as radical as she is.
