Seems like this past weekend saw a number of high-profile weddings across the country. Yes, love was in the air as the nuptials of such prominent personalities as singer Jennifer Lopez tied the know with actor Ben Affleck and former Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg said “I do” with Tom Bernthal.

The Lopez/Affleck wedding took place on Ben’s sprawling Georgia estate on Saturday and the Sandberg/Bernthal nuptials took place in Wyoming.

Page Six of the Post reported that Sandberg and Bernthal had an intimate ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Yahoo reported that in an Instagram post, Sandberg, 52,  shared a snap of herself and her new husband in a woodsy setting with the caption, “MARRIED” with several red heart emojis.”

For the big day, the bride wore a cap-sleeve lace gown, while the groom wore a black suit and cowboy boots, according to the Yahoo News report.

Tom, 50, shared the same shot on his own Instagram page, writing “After both experiencing loss, @sherylsandberg and I weren’t sure we would ever find love again. Over the last three years, we’ve merged our lives and blended our families. Our wedding today was a dream come true.”

Yahoo reported that he later told People, “It is our wedding as the seven of us,” referring to his three kids and Sheryl’s son and a daughter—who all served as members of the bridal party.

Page Six reported that local insiders told them that the couple booked the entire hotel for the nuptials and among those in attendance were actor Jon Bernthal, the groom’s brother who starred in “The Walking Dead.” Other guests included power players from Washington, DC as well as technology titans.

A source told Page Six that “they bought out the whole hotel for the wedding, and it was on super lockdown.”

Jon Bernthal is a former NBC news producer and is the founder of the consulting firm Kelton Global.

NDTV reported that Bernthal posted on Instagram, “After both experiencing loss, Sheryl Sandberg and I weren’t sure we would ever find love again. Over the last three years, we’ve merged our lives and blended our families. Our wedding today was a dream come true.”

In his caption, Bernthal is referring to the couple’s previous marriages, the NDTV report indicated.  Sandberg was married to SurveyMonkey CEO Dave Goldberg who died at the age of 47 in 2015.  Meanwhile, Bernthal’s previous marriage ended in divorce.

Sandberg has two children with her late husband, while Bernthal has three children from his first marriage, as was reported by NDTV. As per a report by People Magazine, all five children were part of the wedding party. Speaking about their blended family, Bernthal told the publication: “It is our wedding as the seven of us.” To this, Sandberg added, “We keep saying, ‘We’re all getting married.’” The couple has been engaged since February 2020.

Goldberg’s brother Rob was the one who first introduced Sandberg to Bernthal in 2019, the report indicated. He also served as the co-officiant for the nuptials.

Sources told Page Six that Secretary of State Antony Blinken was spotted at the Four Seasons over the weekend schmoozing with wedding guests.

Locals also told the Post that the night before the nuptials, there were four helicopters seen flying back and forth to the top of the mountain at the resort – presumably transporting supplies for the weekend’s proceedings.

A source said that there was also a welcome party for the couple’s guests the day before the wedding, as was reported by Page Six.

Page Six also learned that Jon Bernthal and others from the wedding were seen playing touch football outside at the resort on the day of the ceremony.

“Jon was out there playing football in a big ol’ cowboy hat!” a gobsmacked local told the paper. The actor has also starred in “The Wolf of Wall Street,” “King Richard” and “The Punisher.”

Sources told Page Six that because of the guest list, “there were secret service agents” at the hotel, and that guests were being very tight-lipped about any details of the weekend.
