KNICKS: 15-18
I was there when the Knicks were Steph Curry’s “carpet” at Madison Square Garden as he knocked down the record-breaking 2,974th three-pointer in the first quarter, to seize the evening in a 105-96 tailor-made Warriors win. The team would rebound and defeat the Rockets on the road 116-103 led by seven three’s from Immanuel Quickly and 15 point from Miles McBride, but the good vibes were short-lived as they dropped a decision to the Celtics 114-107 at TD Garden despite 29 points from Kemba Walker who came back being eliminated from the rotation as many Knicks are out due to COVID -19. The past week offered reprieve in the schedule for the Knicks, as the downed the Pistons 105-91, at home before wasting another Herculean effort from Walker, as he dropped 44 points in a 124-117 loss to the Wizards. But on Saturday, revenge filled the air as New York took advantage of a Trae Young-less Hawks team 101-87 led by Walkers third career triple-double.

NETS: 21-9
Brooklyn defeated the Raptors with a seven-man rotation last Tuesday on the back of a career-high 31 point performance from Patty Mills and 34 from KD. The winning went onward when they took down the 76ers 114-105 two nights later on the back of another 34 from the MVP-front runner in Kevin Durant. They took precautionary measures and rested the duo while also not having Kyrie Irving , James Harden and Nic Clayton due to COVID protocols in a 100-93 loss to the five win Orlando Magic. However, they did regained their footing a week later when Harden came back and poured in 36, to go along with Mills 34 and an empathic Nic Claxton dunk over LeBron James to stymie the Lakers comeback efforts in a 122-115 road win. Brookwin remains first in the East.

RANGERS 19-7-4
Before the NHL took a week off due to COVID overwhelming the league, the bluehirts dropped games to the surging Avalanche(4-2) and Golden Knights (3-2 in SO) sandwiched in between an ugly 3-2 win over the league-worst Arizona Coyotes in the dessert. When the team returns to play, the Rangers will welcome back Igor Shesterkin and Artemi Panarin so they should be just fine.

ISLANDERS: 8-12-6
They’re still dead last in the division, and it’s unutterable why even after getting their players back.

JETS(4-11) & GIANTS(4-11)
Both stink and both fanbases are now rooting for a higher draft pick than the other. The Jets did notch a win on Sunday though, as feel-good story Zach Wilson defeated #1 pick Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars 26-22 at Metlife Stadium. The Giants have lost four straight and 7 of 10, yet find the fact Daniel Jones has been out due to a neck injury as an excuse to keep him around next year despite the teams pitiful record. I’m a Giants fan and the one Of many desires I have this offseason is for a new GM. Get Dave Gettelmen outta here!!

BILLS 9-6:
They’re back everyone! A 33-21 victory in Foxborough in where they throughly outclassed Mac Jones and the Patriots has Buffalo in control of their own destiny in the AFC East, with the Falcons(7-8) and Jets awaiting them in the seasons final two games. Things are looking up for the back to back “best fanbase in the league” champions.
