The Real Housewives of Miami’s very own plastic surgeon, Dr. Leonard Hochstein, is embroiled in legal woes. His wife, Lisa, has been filming for the show’s reboot and fourth season set to air on NBC’s Peacock. The Real Housewives of Miami hit the small screens back in 2011 but was prematurely cut short in 2013, much to the chagrin of avid fans, Page Six reported.
Page Six revealed the turmoil going on behind the scenes with the husband of the Miami housewife. Leonard, who was known by his wife as the “Boob God,” is being sued by one of his former patients, Luz Del Alba. The former patient filed a malpractice lawsuit against the famed doctor after a thigh and arm lift. The procedure required liposuction, which left her with open wounds and “significant limitation” in her arms. Leonard has also fought back with his own lawsuits.
ScreenRant summarized: Luz also stated that she had suffered immense and constant pain. The outlet shared that in 2021, she had surgery with another doctor to try and fix the issues but will have “severe cosmetic disfiguration” for the rest of her life. She is also suing for lost wages due to having to take time off of work to heal and recover. Luz is suing for $30,000. Another lawsuit was filed against Leonard and his practice in 2019. Christine Wilson alleged that a “metal surgical needle” was left behind in her after her breast augmentation surgery. Christine is seeking $15,000 in damages. The doctor told the outlet, “I have been a surgeon for 31 years. Up until this time, I have never been sued for malpractice.”
Dr. Leonard “Lenny” Hochstein is a 52-year-old cosmetic medical professional and owner of Hochstein Med Spa in Miami Seashore, Florida. He’s emerged as one of the most well-known beauty surgeons in us and his information in breast implants and augmentations has earned him the nickname “Boob God”. He treats several high-profile celebrities, fashions, and porn stars and is currently married to actress Lisa Hochstein from Bravo television’s The Real Housewives of Miami, Wiki Globals reported.
Dr. Leonard Hochstein is also suing 2 former patients, Nicole George and Kristen LaPointe, for posting poor Yelp revies that allegedly damaged his popularity.
LaPointe posted in her evaluate, “I went in for a breast augmentation. I was very sad about the consequences. The implant put in wasn’t even the size I asked, he installed 55cc over what I desired. I had made this very clear that I didn’t want to move over that length. I additionally have terrible scarring.”
