The famous divorce case of socialite Libbie Mugrabi and her ex-billionaire art dealer husband David Mugrabi is back in the news.
The greedy narcissist who last made headlines when she was dating and running around Hamptons shindigs with other elitists last year with failed presidential candidate and bitcoin billionaire Brock Pierce, is back in the news and is making heavy demands on her ex.
In April, a Manhattan Supreme Court judge ordered exes Libbie and David Mugrabi — whose divorce has been called the nastiest in New York City — to exchange artworks plus cars, including a vintage Ferrari, on May 6 in the Hamptons, AU News reported.
But socialite Libbie Mugrabi alleges her famed art dealer ex violated that separation agreement by maliciously giving her damaged art valued well below the $16 million he had agreed they were worth.
She also insists she cannot maintain their children’s standard of living on $79,000 a month in support payments and wants it to be restored to nearly $100,000 a month.
She is now demanding the court invalidate their separation agreement and restart their bitter settlement negotiations.
News AU reported:
The new court papers filed on Monday local time state, “Defendant (David) knowingly misrepresented the value of the art he agreed to provide,” at a value of $16 million, News AU reported
She consulted with an IRS-certified art appraiser who told her “The value of the art is worth substantially less” and that David “fraudulently misrepresented the value of the art he agreed to give (her),” plus he “tried to give (her) damaged art.”
Libbie even goes on to allege in the documents that the art was not damaged the last time she saw it, and David — who is from a prominent and well-respected art collecting family — “purposely damaged the art he agreed to provide (her) under the separation agreement- News AU reported.
The ridiculous story of two people who 99% of the country, cannot even remotely relate to, somehow took national interest in 2018, over skinny dipping in the Hamptons.
TJV News previously reported: When David Mugrabi began skinny dipping with girls half his age in the Hamptons and partying on yachts the marriage began to unravel. While the newspapers breathlessly reporting on the Hamptons skinny dipping incident this was the tip of the iceberg in a marriage that seemed to outlive its expiration date. In fact, the girl Libbie caught in the skinny-dipping incident was a friend who she frequently bought antiques from.
At one point during the endless coverage of the 2 rich art collectors, it was reported by TJV News that a Keith Haring sculpture was presented as evidence in a Manhattan courtroom of the husband’s rough treatment of her over the half-million-dollar art object. It was alleged the two elitists fought like petulant children in a tug of war over the $500,000 art, tugging the art back and forth, like 2 snarling canines.
