Hamas is to Blame for Rocket Attacks

Dear Editor:

The responsibility for the ongoing rocket attacks against Israel lies solely with Hamas and Fatah, who incite violence, carry out violence, subsidize violence, and reward violence against Israelis. Israel is defending her citizens once again from murderous weapons fired randomly into populated areas – indiscriminately wounding and killing Jews and non-Jews alike – while the IDF warns Palestinian civilians away before pinpoint targeting rocket launchers in Gaza.

The United States has, in the recent past, broken new ground for peace in the region with the Abraham Accords. This historic achievement was based on a foundation of unwavering American government support for Israel’s legitimacy, permanency, and security. That foundation has been weakened by the Biden administration’s outreach to Iran and perceived softening toward the Palestinian Authority. Now Democratic leaders have allowed the false, anti-Israel social media attacks of radical Democrats like Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib to go unchallenged.

The Republican Jewish Coalition stands with Israel and calls on America’s leaders to offer Israel every possible means of support in this time of crisis. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Israel, for life, safety, and peace.

Praying for the Welfare of the Jewish Nation

Dear Editor:

Over the past few days, our brothers and sisters in Israel have been the victims of fierce and deadly assaults that have left them living in a state of panic and fear. We, at Agudath Israel of America, pray to the Master of the Universe that he will speedily bring these hostilities to an end and restore calm to the nation. We also plead that He bring comfort to the families of the dead and that He grant a full and swift recovery to the injured.

We welcome the Biden Administration’s stated commitment to ongoing communication with both Israel and the Palestinians and to intensively pursuing a diplomatic means to de-escalate the violence. Now and in the future, we urge the Administration to make clear to Hamas and other such Palestinian groups that those bent on destroying or dismantling Israel, on murder and mayhem, on violence and terror, will find no friend in the United States, will never achieve their aims, and will justifiably be met by a harsh Israeli response.

Agudath Israel also expresses its deep and heartfelt appreciation to the many members of the U.S. Congress and other elected officials who are standing firmly by Israel’s side during this time of crisis.

History has shown time and again that Israel will reach out its hand to those who seek peace. It has also shown that only strong, steadfast U.S. support of Israel will open the eyes of “rejectionists,” leading them to realize that they have no option other than to renounce violence and terror, drop illusions of Israel’s destruction, and reap the benefits of peaceful coexistence.

Photo ID to Vote in the UK??

Dear Editor:

The Government of the United Kingdom is proposing that anyone who wants to vote in a British election should show photo ID to eliminate any corruption and fraud and “ensure the integrity of elections.” This is exactly what we should do in the United States, unlike the Democrats who want to abolish Voter ID laws with passing their horrible HR 1 Bill. All States should pass Voter ID laws along with many other fair and comprehensive election reforms, like eliminating mass mail-in voting and ballot harvesting, so we never again have an election rigged and stolen from us. The people are demanding real reform!

On another topic: Congratulations to Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts for the privilege they will have in looking at massive windmills that have been approved by the Biden Administration and are being built, in China of course, as part of an extraordinarily large wind farm. Wind is an incredibly expensive form of energy that kills birds, affects the sea, ruins the landscape, and creates disasters for navigation. Liberals love it, but they can’t explain why. In any event, Martha’s Vineyard, an absolutely wonderful place, will never be the same. Good Luck!
