In a stunning discovery,  a juror in the Derek Chauvin trial may have hidden that he was a Black Lives Matter activist to convince the judge that he was “impartial.”

Juror #52, now identified as Brandon Mitchell, is also encouraging people to try to get on juries to “spark some change.”

During jury selection, Mitchell claimed that he had very little knowledge of the case, however, RT reported(LINK): a Facebook post last August by Travis Mitchell, uncle of Brandon Mitchell, appears to show the future juror wearing a BLM hat and a BLM T-shirt with a message that alluded specifically to the George Floyd incident: “Get your knee off our necks.”

The post was recently taken down from Facebook, however, numerous outlets captured the post.

In an interview with Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell(LINK) on April 27, the juror asserted that people need to get on juries to “spark some change”, the Post Millennial reports.

“I mean it’s important if we wanna see some change, we wanna see some things going different, we gotta into these avenues, get into these rooms to try to spark some change,” he said. “Jury duty is one of those things. Jury duty. Voting. All of those things we gotta do.”

Minneapolis’ FOX 9 reporter Paul Blume reported in March that “Judge Cahill asked Juror #52, whether he heard anything about the #GeorgeFloyd civil case. He says, no. He explained hearing some basic info about trial dates, etc from the news in recent months, but nothing that would keep him from serving as impartial juror. #ChauvinTrial”

Brandon Mitchell, has also appeared on TMZ where he claimed he and his fellow jurors felt no outside pressure(LINK) to reach a guilty verdict, and reached their decision based on the facts presented in court.

Watching the TMZ interview you can see that Brandon Mitchell is the same man wearing the BLM shirt last August. The question remains, how can an individual who would wear a BLM shirt, with the slogan “get your knee off our necks” ( a direct reference to the Floyd’s case), not know about the George Floyd case?

The fact that Mitchel is now appearing on podcasts, encouraging people to join juries to “SPARK SOME CHANGE”, shows that Mitchel is an activist, he thus far has been to most vocal juror from the Floyd case, appearing on any outlet willing to interview him.
