To help kick off Lenox Hill Hospital’s week-long lineup of Nurses’ Week celebrations, Jason Biggs and wife Jenny Mollen stopped by to honor our nurses and give thanks for their hard work, especially throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

With their family based in New York City, Jason and Jenny wanted to show their appreciation for the staff that has taken care of not just them, but also of their parents and kids.
“My dad is a doctor, and we always say, ‘if you want something done, ask a doctor. If you want something done right, ask a nurse,'” she joked to an audience of nurses. “So, I’m very grateful for all that you do.”
In 2017, after Jenny gave birth to her second son at Lenox Hill, the couple became friendly with Lisa Schavrien, RN, nurse navigator in the Labor & Delivery unit. Jenny is also an outspoken figure when it comes to thyroid health. A patient of Lenox Hill’s Dr. Minisha Sood, Mollen has spoken publicly about her battle with hyperthyroidism.
“The nursing staff here are just incredible,” said Jason. “I’m sure I’ll be here very soon,” he joked in reference to how often he is at the hospital, bringing his parents to their doctors’ appointments.
