Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan[a] (also known simply as Borat 2) is a 2020 American mockumentary comedy film directed by Jason Woliner (in his feature directorial debut). The movie stars Sacha Baron Cohen as fictional Kazakhstani reporter and television personality Borat Sagdiyev, who was introduced in F2F and Da Ali G Show. The film is the sequel to 2006’s Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. In the film, Borat brings his daughter, played by Maria Bakalova, to America as a bride for Vice President Mike Pence.
Although Baron Cohen had previously stated in 2007 he had retired the Borat character, he was spotted at several public events in late 2019 in the disguise. He was then seen filming several other segments amid the COVID-19 pandemic in the summer of 2020, leading to speculation of a second Borat film. The project was officially announced in September 2020, and Amazon Studios acquired the distribution rights.
The film was released On Friday on Amazon Prime Video. It received praise from critics for Baron Cohen and Bakalova’s performances, and the commentary on American culture.
The cast of the film includes:
- Sacha Baron Cohen as Borat Margaret Sagdiyev, a Kazakhstani news reporter who has achieved international fame and notoriety after the release of Borat, and who has been imprisoned in Kazakhstan for the past 14 years for being perceived to have brought shame to the country.

Mike Pence and Rudy Giuliani appear as themselves without their knowledge.
Sid Miller, Donald Trump, and Donald Trump Jr. were originally in the film, but their scenes were cut.
Bystanders included in the film include salesperson and “Minister of Technology” Brian, Instagram influencer and sugar baby Macy Chanel, crisis pregnancy center owner Pastor Jonathan Bright, debutante coach Dr. Jean Sheffield, plastic surgeon Dr. Charles Wallace, professional babysitter Jeanise Jones, barbershop patron Alan “Randy” Knight, the Hillsborough Republican Women’s Club, and QAnon believers Jerry Holleman and Jim Russell, while Holocaust survivor Judith Dim Evans appears with her permission.
As was previously reported by the website, Breitbart.com, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has hit out against the new Borat sequel, saying that a scene in the movie in which he appears to have an encounter with a young woman is a “complete fabrication” and is an attempt to thwart his ongoing investigation into Joe Biden and his family.
Giuliani said in a series of tweets on Wednesday of this week that he wasn’t reaching into his pants in a sexual way during the scene, as some media report have implied, but was merely tucking in his shirt. The former mayor said that he called the police in July once he realized that the scene was a set-up.
“The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment. At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar,” Giuliani tweeted.
“This is an effort to blunt my relentless exposure of the criminality and depravity of Joe Biden and his entire family.”
He concluded: “We are preparing much bigger dumps off of the hard drive from hell, of which Joe Biden will be unable to defend or hide from. I have the receipts.”
The clip from the Borat sequel went viral on Wednesday, reportedly showing Giuliani lying on a hotel bed, tucking in his shirt with his hand down his pants, with a young woman standing close by. Actor Sacha Baron Cohen enters the room in disguise and screams that the young woman is 15 years-old.
The Associated Press noted that the actress in question is listed as 24 years old on the Internet Movie Database site.
Rudy Giuliani was apparently under the impression that he was being interviewed by a news crew about the Trump administration before realizing that it was all a hoax.
