Maureen Dowd, the well-known NY columnist noted for her biting humor towards the powerful, made a huge blunder on Twitter and Hillary Clinton, seeking to remain relevant was quick to pounce on the error.

“It’s hard to fathom, but it has been 36 years since a man and a woman ran together on a Democratic Party ticket, writes @MaureenDowd. To use Geraldine Ferraro’s favorite expression, ‘Gimme a break!’”, Down Tweeted.

Obliviously forgetting the 2016 election, this was indeed a shocking error.

The former Secretary of State tweeted in response: “Either @TimKaine and I had a very vivid shared hallucination four years ago or Maureen had too much pot brownie before writing her column again”, the former First Lady and Presidential nominee responded back on Twitter.

The NYT Twitter account later added: “Correction: An earlier version of this column incorrectly said it had been 36 years since a man and a woman ran on a Democratic Party ticket.

Clinton’s VP nominee Tim Kaine responded on Twitter with obscure lyrics from Broadway song writer Steven Sondheim: “Good times and bum times I’ve seen ‘em all and my dear I’m still here”

The mistake was live for less than an hour before the Times issued a correction, the NY Post reported.

Hillary Clinton’s rabid supporters, who’s numbers have drastically dwindled since the onslaught of Hillary conspiracy theories became part of the American political lexicon, were quick to blame Hillary hatred on Dowd’s error.

The Post pointed put leading the charge was Center for American Progress boss and close Clinton ally Neera Tanden.

“It’s truly embarrassing that their Hillary hatred operates to erase an historic event that happened just 4 years ago. Who is editing this?” she thundered. “The hatred of Hillary is so intense there it is blinding.”

CFAP ended their one-time popular website “Think Progress” last year due to lack of support.  CFAP was at one time extremely influential in left leaning politics, until the Democrat party moved closer to socialism and further away from traditional liberalism.

Hillary’s political credibility has been shattered since the days leading up to the 2016 election, where rumors dominated the internet regarding Hillary’s destroyed email servers. Rumors of Hillary being tied to DNC employee Seth Rich’s murder became the talk of the internet in the summer of 2016. It was long speculated that Rich leaked Hillary Clinton emails to WikiLeaks. Rich’s murder is still unsolved to this day. Other Clinton conspiracies included Bill and Hillary being tied to over 70 mysterious deaths. In a shocking rumor which is still circulating online: a  snuff movie featuring Hillary and Anthony Weiner’s wife Huma Abedin mutilating a child was rumored to be found on Weiner’s laptop by NYPD.  The Clinton Foundation is also said to have been tied to child trafficking. All of these stories circulate online to this day and are quickly dismissed as “Russian propaganda” by Clinton defenders and Democrats in general,

Most conspiracies have a grain of truth to them sprinkled in with exaggerations and outright fiction. However, without exhaustive investigations, the public will most likely never know the extent of truth to the treasure trove of Clinton rumors.

None of this has stopped Hillary from vanishing completely from the public eye.

Hillary was quick to chime in on the Trump executive orders he signed recently.

“It’s a stunt. There’s no doubt about it,” Clinton said on MSNBC.  “It’s most likely, as even Republican senators have said, unconstitutional, bypassing the Congress, trying to spend money that he has no authority to direct. But it’s also meant to be a big diversion from the hard work the Congress should be engaged in to provide the kind of relief that tens of millions of Americans need.”
