U.S. officials are telling reporters that recent moves by the White House suggest that its long-awaited Middle East peace plan may finally see the light of day. The White House has hired a lot of staffers tasked with the Middle East in recent days, World Israel News reports.

World Israel News reports that three units will make up the historic task force, with devoted to ironing out politics and security, one about the economy, and one for strategic communications, the officials said.

While the president touted the plans earlier in his presidency, the idea has seemed to lie dormant, but this new White House teams indicates that his plan is about to go into action.

For the time being, even though there appears to be forward movement on the efforts, the details about who is involved and what the divisions within the task force would be are the only known details, leaving the public stuck only being able to speculate on what exactly the peace plan would entail.

The agencies declined to comment to The Associated Press.
