Joining a Boycott of French Products

Dear Editor:

Concerning your announcement of a boycott of products manufactured in or owned by France, allow me to say that this initiative is long overdue.  In the last few years France has been the venue for deadly terror attacks in which both Jews and non-Jews were targeted. In addition to the unspeakable carnage at the offices of radical magazine, Charlie Hebdo, Jewish blood was spilled at Paris’ main kosher grocery store right before the Sabbath .

Despite the fact that France has morphed in to a virtual haven for bloodthirsty Islamic terrorists, France has not only ridiculed Israel’s exhortations of Jews in to pick themselves up and move to Israel, but now has the chutzpah to punish Israel for standing up for their own rights and guarding their own security.

The French seek to economically isolate Israel; to label products made in Judea and Samaria and then wage a media campaign in which they try to convince consumers not to purchase Israeli made products unless the “occupation” comes to a screeching halt.

Jews don’t lie down and play dead anymore. If France wants a commerce battle, then they’ve got one on their hands. I, too, join with The Jewish Voice and ask that all people who deeply care about the survival of Western civilization as we know it (including America and Israel) to come together and broadcast the fact that France must pay a price for their own forms of terrorism.

Sincerely

Will France Back Down??

Dear Editor:

To those naysayers out there who really don’t believe that a unified force can wage a boycott against France, they had better think again. For those readers out there who might be too young, or for those who just plain forgot, I would like to remind you just how successful America was back in 2003 when they launched a similar boycott.

According to a 2003 report on the Fox News web site, it said:

“Fromage.com, a French cheese distributor, reported that its sales to the United States have gone down 15 percent in the past two weeks. Some U.S. eateries are no longer offering French wines. And a restaurant in North Carolina has even changed the name of its fries.

Neal Rowland, who owns Cubbie’s restaurant in Beaufort, N.C., said he decided to put stickers that say “Freedom” over  the word “French” on all his menus after he watched France back away from support for war in Iraq.

“Since the French are backing down, French fries and French everything needs to be banned,” he told Foxnews.com in a telephone interview. “Fry sales have really gone up. People who eat them now say, ‘Freedom never tasted so good.’”

“I had a gentleman come in today, who works at the court house, and he was crying, his son is serving in Afghanistan and he said he was so glad someone is taking a stand,” said Rowland. “He was proud to see the support in the community for the troops.”

If the backlash is strong enough, it could impact the French economy — American trade with France tops $30 billion a year.”

Now, in the year 2016, just think how many more billions a year does America trade with France and how much more of an impact can be made now. And let’s not forget that in our contemporary times, we have advanced social media platforms to utilize when sending out critical messages, so that factors in to just how successful a boycott of French goods can be.

Obama’s Legacy is “Crumbling”

Dear Editor,

At every opportunity, the lame-dork president Barack Hussein Obama continues to blurt out his skewed perception of his ‘Top Ten’ list of ‘accomplishments’ during his two terms as President. A great segment of his statements are at variance with historical facts. They can easily be checked by comparing them with video recordings and contemporaneously-written reports by the print press and the broadcast media.

He must be experiencing serious heart-burn as the President-elect Donald Trump, has taken a quantum leap toward building his team by interviewing potential team members, vetting them and even announcing some of his nominees that he wants to be a part of his Administration. All of this, way ahead of the schedule of any such actions undertaken by any of the 44 previous presidents including Obama, going back to George Washington.

Simultaneously with the formation of his team, Donald Trump is traveling the nation on a tour to say, ‘Thank You’ to the millions of people who voted for his Presidency. And while all this is going on, he is busy making deals to open up the job market nationwide for American workers, by retaining & creating private industry jobs, right here in the USA. And, he is still more than a month away from being sworn-in to the Office of the Presidency. He is doing all manner of things that Obama said would either take years to make happen or things that in his limited view were never contemplated or, things that he said just couldn’t be done – ever.

Comparisons between the non-accomplishments of Obama and the super, over-the-top record of big-time accomplishments by Trump, are odious.

Sincerely

Obama Supports Russian Election Hacking Fantasies

Dear Editor:

In a delusional plan to delegitimize President Trump’s sweeping win, the Obama administration has taken the lead to question hacking related activities that they claim distorted the results. Of course, no proof has been offered that the Russians or even some high school students broke into our voting machines during the election process. No mention of this was made prior to the crushing defeat of Democrat candidates throughout the nation.

As for blaming the Russians for causing  Americans to cast their ballots for Trump, let’s review Obama’s open microphone statement to then Russian President Medvedev telllng him that when he (Obama) gets back into office he will accommodate any of Putin’s wishes. And please recall that Sect’y of state Clinton handed over a major portion of our domestic supply of uranium to the Russians when she was in office in one of her patented “pay for play” deals. And didn’t Obama close his eyes to Russia joining Iran in invading Syria? So any hacking of our voting machines by Russia would have resulted in Democrat wins. Isn’t that what friends are for?

Sincerely

Alan Jamison
