Anthony Weiner just can’t take a hint.

The disgraced former Congressman and Mayoral hopeful will make a TV appearance following his crushing defeat in the Democratic primaries. NY1’s “Road to City Hall” host Errol Lewis announced the addition of Weiner to the shows panel of “Wise Guys”. The panel will also include former senator Alfonse D’Amato and former Public Advocate Mark Green.

“After Anthony Weiner lost last week, we thought he’d be an interesting choice to be a guest Wise Guy to weigh in on the race for mayor and other issues of the day,” NY1 political director Bob Hardt said in an e-mailed statement.

Weiner left the US House of Representatives in disgrace following the exposure of a sexting scandal in which he engaged under the alias of “Carlos Danger”. His entry into the NYC mayoral race initially yielded strong numbers until another scandal broke. He conceded defeat with less than 5 percent of the vote.

“We had the best ideas. Sadly, I was the wrong messenger,” he said shortly before flipping off a reporter and sneaking out the back door of his own concession party.

Weiner has also developed quite the TV guest reputation. He became a viral internet sensation after losing it at MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnel. When O’Donnel asked what he would do if he lost, Weiner retorted, “I’m not going to lose. Maybe I’ll come back here every night and kick your ass, like I’m doing now.”
