Anti-Semitic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband Ahmed Hirsi, the one who is not her brother.
The decision comes amid rumors that the Muslim legislator has been having a sleezy extramarital affair.
In her filing, Omar called the marriage to the father of her three children “irretrievable.” It might be, some allege, because rumors of her shacking up with Washington, DC-based political consultant Tim Mynett are completely true.
The soon to be unmarried couple got hitched in a religious ceremony back in 2002. They separated in 2008, then remarried last year.
Court documents filed in Minnesota explain that there has been “an irretrievable breakdown of the marriage relationship.”
In August, The New York Post reported that Washinton, DC-based doctor Beth Mynett had filed for divorce from her husband, Tim Mynett, alleging that he had been sleeping with the supposedly devout Muslim Omar.
“In early September, Tim Mynett filed a response with the D.C. court denying he had an affair,” according to the Post. “Since the time of Mr. Mynett’s departure from the marital home, Ms. Mynett began a negative campaign against Mr. Mynett, seemingly in an effort to ruin his career and permanently damage his relationship with William and his step-daughter,” the court papers said.
“Her divorce adds another layer to her complicated history with her now estranged husband, Hirsi. They reportedly married in a religious ceremony in 2002 — but the union was not recognized legally. The couple had 2 children together, but separated in 2008,” TMZ reported.
Omar “went on to marry another man named Ahmed — British citizen Ahmed Elmi — in Minneapolis in 2009, and this time it was official with legal docs and everything. However, they reportedly split in 2011 and he returned to the UK … but they weren’t legally divorced until 2017,” TMZ continued. “Meanwhile, Omar reconciled with Hirsi in 2012 and they had another child together … while she was still legally married to Elmi. Omar and Elmi divorced officially in 2017, and then she wed Hirsi — legally this time — in 2018.”
Omar’s Jew-hating bile is on public record. She said once on Twitter that “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.” She also said, of American support for Israel, “It’s all about the Benjamins baby.” She also said, “I am told every day that I am anti-American if I am not pro-Israel. I find that to be problematic and I am not alone. I just happen to be willing to speak up on it and open myself to attacks.”
