In the latest sign that President Trump and Republicans are seeking revenge following Attorney General William Barr’s release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s key findings, the New York City Republican Party unveiled a digital ad campaign against several Democratic lawmakers from New York.

The campaign is directed at House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) and Reps. Max Rose, Sean Patrick Maloney, Antonio Delgado, and Anthony Brindisi.

“NO COLLUSION . . . Tell Pelosi and Max Rose to Stop the Partisan Games and Do Their Jobs!” reads one digital ad with a picture of Rep. Rose and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), according to the New York Post.

The new ad campaign is slated to run across Facebook and Twitter.

Mr. Nadler, who is running a wide-ranging investigation into Mr. Trump and his 2016 presidential campaign, has said that he wants to see Mr. Mueller’s full report in order to assess his findings.

Mr. Barr released a letter last week outlining Mr. Mueller’s key investigatory findings, which included that fact that there was no collusion with Russia, however Democratic lawmakers in charge of House committees, such as Mr. Nadler who runs the Judiciary committee and Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., who heads the House intelligence committee, say that’s not good enough — demanding to see the report in full as well as grand jury information.

Mr. Nadler’s committee voted Tuesday on authorizing a subpoena against Mr. Barr to obtain Mr. Mueller’s full report. Mr. Barr, however, has said that he will not release a redacted version of Mr. Mueller’s report until later this month.

“We have an obligation to read the full report, and the Department of Justice has an obligation to provide it, in its entirety, without delay. If the department is unwilling to produce the full report voluntarily, then we will do everything in our power to secure it for ourselves,” Mr. Nadler wrote Monday in a New York Times opinion piece. “We require the report, first, because Congress, not the attorney general, has a duty under the Constitution to determine whether wrongdoing has occurred. The special counsel declined to make a ‘traditional prosecutorial judgment’ on the question of obstruction, but it is not the attorney general’s job to step in and substitute his judgment for the special counsel’s.”

“It’s unfortunate that a body meant to uphold the law has grown so desperate that it’s patently misrepresenting the law, even as the attorney general has already demonstrated transparency above and beyond what is required,” Rep. Doug Collins, the leading Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, said Monday in a statement.
