Actress and comedienne, Roseanne Barr has not only been dominating the headlines concerning her canceled sitcom; the rebooted version of the 1990’s hit “Roseanne” but has been traveling quite a bit as well.
Barr spoke of the ABC sitcom that put her on the map while on a recent trip to Israel where she is rediscovering her Jewish roots and taking her commitment to a higher religious observance more seriously.
Barr was fired from her hit reboot sitcom after she posted a Tweet about former President Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett that many found objectionable and even racist. Barr, for her part, has denied that her Tweet was racist in nature and has said that throughout her entire life she has fought against racism and for equality for all people.
Now, in a new interview with interviewer Candace Owens, Roseanne has taken the progenitors of the “MeToo” movement to task and have called such people as Senator Kamala Harris and Christine Blasey Ford “hos” as well as launching broadsides against other women as well.
Christine Blasey Ford is the psychology professor who testified before Congress that now Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh has sexually abused her when they were teenagers.
According to a report in the New York Post, Barr has said of the women she focused her criticism on that, “they’re pretending that they didn’t go to trade sexual favors for money,” rhetorically asking why some women find themselves in men’s hotel rooms at 3 a.m.
Interviewer Candace Owens replies by pointing to the women who accused comedian Louis C.K. of sexual misconduct, prompting Barr to say, “That’s who I’m talking about, too.” “I know a ho when I see one,” proclaims Barr.
Speaking in her typical candid manner, Barr was quite forthright about her views on race, religion, politics and Hollywood.
It is clear from Barr’s statements on the Candace Owens program that she is definitely not a fan of California Democrat Kamala Harris.
“Look at Kamala Harris, who I call Kama Sutra Harris,” Barr says, as she focused on Harris’ prior relationship with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, according to a NY Post report.
The comedian accused Harris of moving her way up the ladder of success in her political career through having relations with Brown. According to the Post report, Barr said, “We all know what she did… she slept her way to the bottom.”
Owens apparently was in agreement with Owens, who directs comms for the young conservative group Turning Point USA.
On other controversial issues such as comments made by freshman congresswomen Ilhan Omar (D-Minn) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich), Barr told her interviewer that, “It’s scary that we have Hamas in our Congress,” referencing the Palestinian terror group.
On the topic of public anti-Semitism by elected officials, Owens claims that Bronx Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) openly “hates Jews.” Barr herself is Jewish.
