The New York Post is reporting that the Manhattan DA’s office once “went to bat for billionaire pervert Jeffrey Epstein, after botching a review of his sex crimes and swallowing his lawyers’ claim that “there are no real victims here,” citing records obtained by the Post.
In a story headlined Manhattan DA sided with pedophile billionaire after botching investigation by Susan Edelman and Isabel Vincent, the Post reports that Assistant DA Jennifer Gaffney, then-deputy chief of Cyrus Vance Jr.’s sex-crimes unit, “in January 2011 asked a Manhattan judge to downgrade Epstein’s status in the New York sex-offender registry from the most-dangerous Level 3 to least-restrictive Level 1. The judge was stunned.
“I have never seen the prosecutor’s office do anything like this,” Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Ruth Pickholz told Gaffney. “I have done many [cases] much less troubling than this one where [prosecutors] would never make a downward argument like this.”
“Pressed by the judge, Gaffney admitted that she never spoke to the Florida U.S. Attorney who handled a sprawling sex-crime investigation into the financier,” the Post continued. “I don’t think you did much of an investigation here,” Pickholz said. “I am shocked.”
According to Axios, Harvard law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz still provides legal advice to serial pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
“He has called me a couple of times about legal issues, because I’m still technically his lawyer,” Dershowitz told Axios in a phone interview on Saturday. “But I haven’t had any social, or any other kind of contact. … You never stop being a person’s lawyer.”
As the news site has reported, Dershowitz “helped Epstein get a sweetheart plea deal from then-U.S. Attorney Alexander Acosta (now Donald Trump’s labor secretary and a rumored long-shot contender for attorney general).”
The UK’s Sun has reported that Prince Andrew has been “dragged back into the Jeffrey Epstein paedo scandal as a photo of him with an ‘underage prostitute’ has been listed as an exhibit at a new court case. On Tuesday, a Florida courtroom will hear the tragic stories of sexual abuse that US financier Epstein subjected his victims to.”
The paper published a photo of the Duke of York with his arm around Virginia Roberts’ waist at a London townhouse in March 2001. It added, “Roberts who may be called as a witness at Palm Beach County Court this week, has claimed she was forced to have sex with Epstein and he “loaned [her] out” to perform sex acts for his wealthy pals. This civil trial comes just days after a local report revealed Epstein’s powerful lawyers struck a deal which stopped him from facing serious time in jail. Epstein was jailed for 13 months in 2008 for soliciting girls for underage prostitution.”
In May of 2016, Fox News reported that former President Bill Clinton was a much more frequent flyer on Epstein’s infamous jet than previously reported, with flight logs showing the former president taking at least 26 trips aboard the “Lolita Express” — even apparently ditching his Secret Service detail for at least five of the flights
Clinton’s presence aboard Jeffrey Epstein’s Boeing 727 on 11 occasions has been reported, but flight logs show the number is more than double that, and trips between 2001 and 2003 included extended junkets around the world with Epstein and fellow passengers identified on manifests by their initials or first names, including “Tatiana.” The tricked-out jet earned its Nabakov-inspired nickname because it was reportedly outfitted with a bed where passengers had group sex with young girls.
