AntiSemitism & YouTube

Dear Editor:

YouTube provides a home for scores of overtly anti-Semitic videos and channels. Trust me, the worst kind of primitive Jew-hatred, Holocaust denial, and Israel bashing. In the wake of the Pittsburgh terror attack, YouTube management is especially sensitive to hate speech right now. So the time is right to flag offenders of their guidelines. There are many.

You will need a YouTube account to weigh in on this initiative. Then find the “report” function by clicking on the three small dots to the lower right of each video screen. Then follow the instructions.

Below you’ll find links to some of the worst examples. Click on them and they’ll take you straight to the video. Some might even shock you.

And don’t think for a minute this won’t have an effect on the situation. From my own experience, I can tell you it does.

Florida’s Gubernatorial & Senate Races

Dear Editor:

I’ve been getting messages from local Republican leaders of their joy at the outcomes of last Tuesday’s election results. They are acting as if we won an overwhelming victory, that we clobbered them, that we are in the clear. There are even groups planning to stand on South Palm Beach street corners waving signs of victory to the passing cars and pedestrians. Sorry, there is nothing to jump up and down about. Rather, the vote signaled we’ve got to do more to prepare for 2020. There is little time for nor need to celebrate.

Let’s be real about yesterday’s election outcomes. We squeaked by in the Senate and lost the House. True, it could very well have been worse with the media flashing poll predictions and calling for a “Blue Wave” that thankfully never materialized. Whatever we won, it was because of President Trump phenomenally blazing tirelessly across the country delivering his messages and the scrambling of Republican worker bees never losing faith. But why such a tight race?

With the unparalleled prosperity that Trump has brought us, the stock market highs, low numbers of unemployed, wages rising, taxes lowered, Canada and Mexico bending to our trade demands, North Korea backtracking, Iran crumbling, ISIS nearly defeated and Americans without a doubt better off then they were just two years ago…… and we still gave away the House. Two radical, Muslim women will enter that chamber to join with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez elected in NYC to form a witches’ brew of trouble…of course, as protected women. And former congressman, Keith Ellison, a radical Muslim leader of Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam and a woman beater, was elected to be Minnesota’s new Attorney General. Sharia law, here we come! Senator Menendez, in New Jersey, a criminal, was reelected. What’s to shout about?

And down here in Florida, a true American hero, Ron DeSantis barely made it as governor running against a Progressive Socialist. Soon to be Senator Rick Scott’s win by a hair over Do Nothing Senator Nelson is being challenged. With the corrupt Democrat Election Supervisors recounting the votes, who knows how many thousands of faux absentee ballots are now being created behind locked doors to overturn the vote?

So what do we do? There is no time for gloating, sign waving and continuing celebrations. The Radical Left will be coming for us strong in 2020. We have to start right this minute in setting up locations in Palm Beach County for street level campaign offices that will be easy for passers by to see and enter for signs and other support materials. No more last minute, second thought hidden away offices in office buildings not obvious to the community. And lastly but more important, we must be selecting candidates to run against sitting House Democrats. Viable, tough aspiring candidates must be tutored to go against Ted Deutch, Lois Frankel and Debbie Schultz. Let’s get ready for the battle of 2020….NOW!!!

Sincerely

“The Outer Limits”

Dear Editor:

Election Day has come and gone reminds me of “The Outer Limits” 1960’s television show. With the end of round the clock commercials by politicians, political parties, unions and pay for play special interest groups, we now return control of your television back to you until the next election cycle. Now if only Governor Andrew Cuomo would do the same. When will he direct the Empire State Development Corporation to stop running their wasteful “public service” advertisements. After eight years in office, Cuomo has had this quasi independent state agency spend several hundred million in taxpayers dollars to pay for these “feel good commercials.

They were clearly designed to assist him in greasing the wheels of another term in office and raise his profile in preparation for a Presidential run in the Democratic Party 2020 Primary. These commercials periodically run in heavy rotation on many stations several times per hour day and night. Diogenes is still waiting for State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli, Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart Cousins, State Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie or a brave member of the State Legislature to come forward and challenge Emperor Cuomo to end this waste, fraud and abuse of public monies.

Sincerely,

Larry Penner
