Attempted Stabbing In Hebron, Terrorist Killed

A Palestinian terrorist who had attempted to stab IDF troops at the Givat Avot checkpoint in Hebron was neutralized on Monday. No Israelis were wounded in the plot that was successfully thwarted.

Palestinian reports named the terrorist as 28-year-old Wael Al-Jabari from Hebron.

The Israeli military said an initial probe showed that “the terrorist pulled out a knife and approached IDF troops at the Givat Avot checkpoint in Hebron. The troops responded by firing at him.”

Last night, terrorists threw an explosive device at the Gilboa crossing in the Jenin area. There were no casualties and no damage was reported.

Earlier, during an IDF search of weapons found in the El-Gaza refugee camp at the Etzion Military Base, Arab rioter

s threw stones and explosive devices at soldiers who responded with riot control measures. There are no casualties.
