Air Force One landed at Singapore’s Paya Lebar Air Base at 8:30 p.m., a few hours after the arrival of the North Korean leader, Daily Caller reported.

The historic summit, expected to be held Tuesday morning, has been three-months in the making. Trump accepted an invitation to meet Kim in early March, and since then, diplomatic officials on both sides have worked tirelessly to prepare for this landmark geopolitical event. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo made two trips to Pyongyang to lay the groundwork for this meeting.

The focus of the meeting is peace in exchange for North Korean denuclearization. Trump has made it clear that this is Kim’s only shot, Daily Caller reported
