Dear President Trump:
Blessings from the Holy Land of Israel! First, I would like to take this opportunity to thank and bless you for your brave support of Israel and its capital Jerusalem in the U.N. There is no doubt in my mind that you, your family, and America as a whole will be blessed for this tremendous show of support, as the God of Israel promised our forefather Abraham: “I will bless those who bless you” (Genesis 12:3).
President Trump, ‘my sin I mention this day’ (Genesis 41:9): I must admit that I was a fierce opponent of your candidacy for president. Having grown-up in the 70’s in New York City (Jackson Heights to be exact), I remembered constantly hearing and reading about all the various scandals the media reported regarding your supposedly corrupt business dealings and immoral personal behavior. Back then, I, like many others, naïvely believed that the media reported the truth. Today, however, I know better – due in large part, President Trump, to your important campaign of exposing ‘fake news’!
President Trump, I am writing to you as the leader of the free, democratic world, and as the President of the United States – a country whose very foundations were based on the freedom of religious expression.
President Trump, a false claim has been made, namely, that the holiest site for a Jew to pray is the Western Wall. This is a “fake claim”! The holiest site for a Jew to pray is on the Temple Mount, and not at the Western Wall! I realize that due to the present political situation in the Middle East and the world in general, it is difficult for Israel to fulfill our nation’s eternal desire to see the Third and Final Holy Temple, God’s house of prayer for ALL nations and languages, built on the Temple Mount, as our Prophets prophesized thousands of years ago in the Name of God: “In the days to come the mountain of the Lord’s house will be the highest of the mountains. It will be lifted above the hills; peoples will stream to it. Many nations will go and say, “Come, let’s go up to the Lord’s mountain, to the house of Jacob’s God so that he may teach us his ways and we may walk in God’s paths. Torah will come from Zion; the Lord’s word from Jerusalem” (Isaiah 2:2-3).

Nevertheless, President Trump, I am writing to you with one modest and just request which, in my humble opinion, you and the vast majority of Americans agree with, and is within your power to help achieve – to allow Jewish worshippers the moral and ethical right to pray on the Temple Mount. At present, Jews are permitted to visit the Temple Mount, but are forbidden to pray there; if, God forbid, a Jew opens his mouth and moves his lips, he is automatically arrested and prevented from returning to the Temple Mount! President Trump – this criminal injustice and violation of our basic right to freedom of religious expression, cries to the Heavens to be put to an end! Can it be that today, in our modern and enlightened world, Jews, or any other person of faith for that matter, should be prevented from reciting prayers to God – all the more so, on the Temple Mount, the holiest of sites?

President Trump, the Muslims make fake claims to the Temple Mount which have been disproven archeologically, and declare that Jews have no right to pray there. President Trump, perhaps you lack the authority and power to give the Jewish nation the order to build the Holy Temple in Jerusalem as King Cyrus did thousands of years ago, but as the leader of the free, democratic world, you certainly have the authority and influence to help bring this immoral and criminal discrimination to an end.
President Trump, paraphrasing our great leader and teacher, Moses, who cried out: “Let my people go”, I call on you, and all Americans of faith to “Let my people pray!” Please  Sign Petition by Clicking Here
Honorably yours,
Yonaton Behar
