The personal triplex penthouse belonging to President Donald Trump is about to be one upped by a five-floor penthouse that is being created by a Russian developer across the street from Trump Tower.
The infamous Crown building located at 57th Street and Fifth Avenue is being turned into luxury Aman hotel, 20 Aman-branded condos, and topped with a five-story penthouse in the crown for over $100 million. Supermodel Naomi Campbell’s ex-boyfriend Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin is developing the project.
According to The Post, “Trump’s triplex is 10,996 square feet. Across the street, the Crown Building’s five-level home will measure nearly 14,000 square feet, according to new details released yesterday by the Real Deal. While the price has not been officially announced, it is expected to hit the market for more than $100 million, as Bloomberg first reported in October. New York has only sold one condo for more than $100 million in its history — the $100.5 million spread at luxury condo One57 in 2015. This penthouse is not the only one on the market asking north of $100 million. It will join the Woolworth Tower’s $110 million crown jewel, as well as the $130 million penthouse palace at 520 Park Ave.”
The penthouse in the Crown Building will feature a piano lounge, steam room and two swimming pools, one outdoor and one indoor, in addition to a full-floor master suite, two kitchens and a terrace that wraps around the building.
An Aman spokesperson says that units will range from $5.9 million for a one-bedroom to $58.3 million for a four-bedroom. Only five of the condos have offered asking prices to the public so far.
As for the hotel section of the building, it will contain 83 rooms, and feature a spa, cigar bar, an Aman member’s club, a jazz bar as well as multiple restaurants.
