Mike Pompeo was sworn in as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency on January 23, 2017. As Director, he manages intelligence collection, analysis, covert action, counterintelligence, and liaison relationships with foreign intelligence services.
Benjamin Anthony is the founder of Our Soldiers Speak (www.oursoldiersspeak.org). Sergeant Anthony is the lead lecturer for the organization which has reached diverse audiences at more than 400 campuses across several continents as well as leading think tanks in various countries.

Since its inception as the modern Jewish state in 1948, Israel has garnered a stellar reputation as an avatar of international intelligence and the world’s leaders in advancing security. Due to the manifold threats against its existential survival, Israel has made it a priority to enhance its military and local law enforcement apparatus with exceptionally qualified individuals; all of whom are dedicated to protecting Israel and enhancing her image around the world.

Recently, the Jewish Voice spoke with Sergeant Benjamin Anthony, the Founder and Senior Lecturer of “Our Soldiers Speak” – the sole organization whose mission it is to dispatch high ranking Israel Defense Forces officers as well as prominent members of the Israeli National Police to address assemblages at universities, graduate and law schools as well as renowned centers for international studies and think tanks around the world.

“OSS Campus speaks to the pro, the anti and the undecided element of the global student and faculty community alike. To date, we have reached over 400 campuses in several continents,” said Sergeant Anthony.

Having made aliyah in 2004 from the United Kingdom to Israel, Sergeant Anthony joined the IDF and served in “Operation Protective Edge” as a conscript soldier and from 2007 to the present he has been a reservist.

“The main objective of ‘Our Soldiers Speak’ is to connect Israeli policy makers to today’s world leaders,” said Sergeant Anthony.  “We have found that when we present the truth about Israel, we can dispel the notions of the propagandists that have engulfed us and we are in a better position to influence opinion makers in the future,” he added.

Maintaining the integrity of facts, Sergeant Anthony said, “OSS is not a public relations or hasbara organization. We impart Israeli expertise by arranging for members of the IDF to address the world’s top legal minds as well as security officials representing governmental bodies.”

In addition, Sergeant Anthony says that the OSS Elite division convenes policy and strategy briefings for members of the United States Senate and the United States Congress as well as legislators and policy influencers throughout the western world.

The “Israel Through The Law & Policy Lens” tour of the country brings select graduate and doctoral students, committed to careers in public service, to Israel for an academically rich immersion into the law and policy considerations of the country. Delegates from more than 10 different countries join OSS conferences annually, ensuring a delegation that is truly global. Unique follow-up opportunities for tour graduates result in an ongoing appreciation of the State of Israel and her place among the nations.
