The extremely wealthy owner of the New England Patriots and confidant to President Donald Trump, Robert Kraft, recently spent $90,000 on a four-night getaway in a rental in the Hamptons.

According to The Post, “The Farrell Building Co.-designed spread is on the market for $15.99 million, just down the road from billionaire Blackstone Group CEO Stephen Schwarzman — who also has ties to The Donald as an adviser — and Pete Peterson, the former secretary of commerce under President Richard Nixon and fellow Blackstone co-founding billionaire.”

In 2005, while Kraft was on a trip with Sandy Weill and some others, he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Putin tried on Kraft’s Super Bowl ring, which is diamond-encrusted and valued at over $25,000, and he never gave it back.

At least Kraft still has his vacation spot, which spans across 8,600-square-feet, and contains 10 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a 50-foot pool with a double-decker pool house and a dropped tennis court. His luxurious property also borders a 34-acre natural reserve by Mecox Bay. Features of the house also include glass walls and a glorious double-height foyer with white oak floors.

The Post reports, “There’s also a chef’s kitchen with a butler’s pantry, a spacious great room, and a formal living room with coffered ceilings and fireplaces. Glass doors lead to the outdoor entertaining spaces. The property additionally boasts lower-level suites for staff or guests, along with a gym, a home theater with stadium seating, a wine cellar and lots of storage.”

Luke Whitman and Andrew Azoulay of Douglas Elliman are the listing brokers for the property.
