On Friday, January 13, a masseur confesses to killing his client by strangling the 400-pound former owner of a gay club in Midtown Manhattan, according to law-enforcement sources.

Sources told The Post that back on January 3, 54-year-old Savvon Zabar was receiving a massage from 23-year-old Daquan King, when the two began to engage in “weird’’ but consensual sex.

The following morning, two roommates discovered Zabar lying face-up and unconscious in their apartment on West 81st Street.

The prime suspect has been King, the masseur, from the start.

According to one source of The Post, during King’s confession, “he was sobbing the whole time. He said it started out with him massaging the victim. The massage led to them fooling around. They were doing weird sex stuff. And that led to them choking each other.”

Allegedly, the sexual encounter “ended with the perp choking the victim a little too hard and he heard the victim gurgling. He was so freaked out, he left.’’

Zabar was the former owner of Escuelita, a Latin gay nightclub on West 39th Street in Midtown Manhattan.
