The boutique hotel is the newest luxury hotel from the Nakash Group

For travelers headed for Israel this summer, some exceptionally exciting news awaits you! In additional to its resplendent beauty and palpable majesty, Jerusalem is now offering the newest luxury hotel from the Orchid hotel chain, owned by the Nakash Group. So it is with great pleasure that they officially announce that The Herbert Samuel hotel has now opened its doors.

“We are very proud to open our Group’s first luxury hotel in Jerusalem, following a considerable investment of financial and human resources. This hotel, which uniquely combines excellent standards with attentive personal service and a warm ambiance, offers a superb chef restaurant, a first-rate spa, and a location that is second to none in the capital,” said Avi Hormaro, CEO of the Nakash Group in Israel and the Orchid hotel chain.

The exclusive Herbert Samuel hotel presents 134 rooms and 3 lavish suites, all featuring an innovative modern design style. Centrally located, the hotel is conveniently close to the Nahalat Shiva pedestrian district, Zion Square, and the main pedestrian mall on Ben Yehuda Street, with the Old City and many popular city center attractions just a minute’s walk away.

The hotel also includes, among other deluxe amenities, smart TVs in guest rooms, complimentary wireless internet access, and free phone calls to all worldwide destinations.

The 11th floor of the hotel is home to the Herbert Samuel Jerusalem restaurant, a new sister restaurant to the Herbert Samuel Tel Aviv and Herbert Samuel Herzliya, all operated by Adi’s Lifestyle Group. The restaurant showcases spectacular views and a magnificent design, with authentic, creative kosher (meat) cuisine by Chef Oren Yerushalmi.

In addition, the hotel boasts an impressive spa complex, including 5 luxurious treatment rooms, each with its own personal shower; a state-of-the-art gym with the very latest market-leading equipment; dry and wet saunas; and a heated indoor swimming pool. The hotel also makes available a conference room for holding various meetings and events.

To celebrate the opening of the hotel, special launch prices are being offered on a B&B basis, per couple per night, from NIS 1,000.

The new hotel joins the boutique Bayit Bagalil hotel, becoming part of the Nakash Group’s luxury hotel collection. It is expected to be joined by the Setai Tel Aviv hotel in Jaffa and Setai Sea of Galilee hotel by the Sea of Galilee, which are both currently under construction.

Having just returned from a week-long stay in Jerusalem, Jewish Voice publisher David Ben-Hooren exclaimed, “As a person who travels on a frequent basis and stays at many hotels, I can honestly say that The Herbert Samuel Hotel stands head and shoulders above the others in terms of elegance, amenities and the grandeur it emanates.”

He added that, “The Herbert Samuel is now an integral part of the Jerusalem experience. Just standing on its 11th floor rooftop balcony and marveling at the breathtaking view of the King David Hotel and the Old City is an absolute must for every visitor to the city of gold.”

Mr. Ben Hooren said that the staff’s attention to detail and their warm and welcoming nature provide the ultimate in sophisticated hotel service. “I do believe that the outstanding five star service that the Herbert Samuel offers its clientele makes it a truly remarkable hotel in a multitude of ways.”

Offering snapshots of his experience at the Herbert Samuel, Mr. Ben Hooren explicated: “Just to give an example of the superlative service at this gorgeous hotel, while I was staying there with my wife, she needed to have her dressed hemmed and asked the concierge for information about a local tailor who could help.

He continued: “Rather than sending us somewhere to have it done, they sent a tailor to our room. If that is not personalized and customized service, then I don’t know what is. We were just so incredibly impressed with the prompt and courteous room service, the wonderful concierge service, the cab station outside the hotel and much, much more.”

Taking time to enjoy the upscale amenities at the Herbert Samuel such as the picturesque indoor swimming pool, well-equipped gym, sauna, steam room, massage room and world class restaurant, Mr. Ben Hooren said, “When you stay at the Herbert Samuel, the truth is, you never really need to leave the hotel grounds to have your needs met. They have everything under one roof which makes it so convenient.”

The Herbert Samuel is also within walking distance of Jerusalem’s public transportation services such as the light rail and Egged bus stops.

So, for those who wish to be pampered on their vacation while maintaining the tradition of the holy city of Jerusalem, then the Herbert Samuel is the place for you!
