A 40-year-old Jewish man has died after he was intentionally struck by an unknown male Sunday night, July 19, after a fight in the Forest Hills section of Queens, police said.

The victim, identified as Aron Aranbayev, and the unidentified man were involved in a verbal dispute over a parking spot just outside Aranbayev house, at 71st Ave. and 110th St., at around 11:10 p.m., when the suspect angrily hopped into his vehicle and struck Aranbayev, before fleeing the scene.

NYPD and EMS reported when they responded to the scene they found Aranbayev unconscious and unresponsive. He was transferred to Jamaica Hospital where he passed away Monday evening, police said.

It appeared to police that the motorist backed into Aranbayev on purpose and then drove away without stopping, based on interviews conducted by detectives.

Police are currently searching for the suspect by reviewing nearby surveillance videos. They hope to identify the man’s car.
