2 Suspects Wanted In Queens Synagogue Burglary

The New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying suspects wanted for burglarizing a synagogue in Kew Garden Hill section of queens last month.

The incident occurred on a Thursday evening on December 25, 2014, sometime between 5:00-8:30 pm, at the Shuva Israel synagogue located at 147-05 70th Road, police said.

According to detectives, the suspects entered through an open door and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from a charity box inside. The burglary was caught on surveillance video.

Police believe these two men have burglarized other synagogues in the same neighborhood in the past.
