Milton Kutsher took over the hotel in the 1940s and oversaw the hotel’s significant expansion in the 1950s to the 1980s. With this expansion Kutsher’s created a leading Catskills resort that had a 400-room resort on its 1,500 acre property. it also housed two bungalow colonies, two summer camps, an18-hole golf course and lakefront. Milton Kutsher and his wife Helen ran the hotel until Milton’s death in 1998.

Veria Lifestyle, which purchased the property, is a newly created corporation that is owned by the London-based Natural Wellness UK Limited. It is also connected to Veria Living, a media company that provides television programming domestically and globally, including on dedicated cable channels.
