Haim Sabon hopes VP Biden does not stand in the way of Clintons presidential bid
Major Democratic party donor and Israeli-American media tycoon Haim Saban, said on Friday that he would throw his “full might” behind the support of former secretary of state Hillary Clinton if she opts to make a presidential bid in 2016, according to Reuters.

The 66-year-old Clinton has been tight-lipped about whether she will indeed run for president or not. Clinton served as U.S. secretary of state under President Obama until this past February, when she stepped down from the position, which is now held by John Kerry. while Clinton has recently conceded that she is considering running for the presidency, she has also said that a decision will not be made until next year.

“I hope she will run. She would be a wonderful president,” Saban told Israel’s Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper. “If it happens, we will of course pitch in with full might. Seeing her in the White House is a big dream of mine.”

Saban is the producer of the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and he gave $1 million to three Democratic political action committees in 2012. And while other presidential hopefuls are being considered for 2016, even Vice President Joe Biden is trailed Clinton by almost 40 percent in a Reuters poll conducted this past September.

Saban considered the complication of a potential Biden presidential bid. “I think that if Vice President Biden decides to run, Obama will stay neutral, but if Biden does not run and she does, he will support her,” Saban said. “The general feeling is that Hillary is Obama’s natural successor.”
