Northfield Celebrates Opening of Kings Highway Branch

Northfield Bank celebrated the opening of their new Kings Highway East Branch at 1123 Kings Highway with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday May 30th.

As part of the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Northfield donated $2,500 to two area organizations: The Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services and the Kings Highway Business Improvement District.

The Kings Highway East facility has intelligent ATM’s which will allow customers to make deposits without the need for an envelope, a customer waiting lounge, and private customer service offices that allow for greater privacy when conducting business.

Kevin Drumgoole has been named Vice President and Branch Manager of the Kings Highway East Office.  Mr. Drumgoole joins Northfield Bank with 40 years of financial experience.  Kevin specializes in small business banking and actively supports many community and charitable programs.  Prior to joining Northfield, Kevin was a Vice President and the Branch Manager of Sovereign Bank.

The hours of operation are Monday thru Wednesday 8:30am to 5:00pm; Thursday 8:30am to 6pm; Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturday 9:00am to 1:00pm.  The Kings Highway East branch is Northfield’s ninth Brooklyn location, joining existing locations in Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Highlawn/Kings Highway, Gravesend, Brighton Beach, Bensonhurst, and Flatbush.  The branch is located at the intersection of Kings Highway and East 12th Street.

Northfield, founded in 1887, generally operates 30 full service-banking offices in Central New Jersey, Staten Island, and Brooklyn.
