Jewish girls in Crown Heights were reportedly assaulted in two separate incidents this past week, the Algemeiner reported, citing the local blog CrownHeights.info.

In the first incident, one White and two Black teens reportedly confronted two ten-year-old girls from the Beis Rivka school. They reportedly threw a glass bottle at the girls and grabbed one of them by the neck, according to the report. The girls were neither physically nor verbally injured, however, according to a Yeshiva World report.

In the second incident, the same two Black teens from the first incident threw a glass bottle at two twelve-year-old girls, the report added. After the bottle hit one of the girls in the knee, “One of the attackers then pounced on the victim, grabbing her in a choke hold and…shouting expletives laced with racial diatribe. ‘You dirty Jew’ and ‘get the … out of Crown Heights…’” according to CrownHeights.info, the Algemeiner further reported.

Though she escaped from the choke hold, the victim was subsequently punched in the back as she fled. Medical attention was required to treat the resulting bruising and swelling, according to the report.

The police department has reportedly referred the incidents to the Hate Crimes Task Force for further investigation.
